Comme des Garçons Play and Converse have been working together since 2009, when the heart-with-eyes logo first appeared on the Chuck Taylor All Star. The formula hasn't changed much, and that's the point: a canvas upper in black, white or off-white, the classic rubber toe cap and foxing tape, and the red heart printed on the sidewall where it stays visible as you walk. The range covers high and low tops across the Chuck Taylor and the higher-spec Chuck 70, with its heavier canvas, glossier toe cap and cushioned footbed, plus multi-heart versions patterned across the whole upper and occasional Pro Leather and One Star editions. Unisex sizing throughout.
