VIVIENNE WESTWOOD’S REBEL LEGACY HITS LISBON

From June 7 to October 12, Lisbon’s MUDE – Museum of Design hosts “Vivienne Westwood: O Salto da Tigresa (The Tigress’s Leap)”—an unmissable dive into the punk pioneer’s revolutionary world.

Curated by fashion historian Anabela Becho, the exhibition takes inspiration from philosopher Walter Benjamin’s concept of the “Tiger’s Leap”—the idea of seizing fragments of history to transform the present. Just like the tigress of the title, Westwood (1941–2022) pounced on tradition, tearing apart conventions and stitching them back together with punk irreverence and aristocratic flair.
