Phoebe Philo is one of the most influential designers of her generation. Known for her work at Chloé and later Céline, she shaped a new visual language of intelligent, sensual minimalism.
In 2023, she launched her namesake label on her own terms — independent, self-funded, and uncompromising in vision.
In Philo’s world, “Edit” replaces the traditional idea of a seasonal collection. Releases arrive on her own schedule — unhurried, considered, and entirely self-governed. This approach reflects the philosophy at the core of the brand: independence, integrity, and precision.
As Philo put it in 2021, “To be independent, to govern and experiment on my own terms is hugely significant to me.” That ethos is evident in every piece.
The clothes are defined by a quiet intensity — amplified silhouettes, sculptural minimalism, and meticulous attention to material.
Expect bonded cottons, dense knits, technical nylons, and unexpected details: zippers that alter shape, nailhead accents on shoes, mohair trenches cut to move like sculpture. Philo continues to build on her now-iconic designs — the Gig and Cabas bags return as modern classics, reimagined in new materials and finishes.
Alongside them are new silhouettes that explore structure, scale, and touch. The footwear offering follows a similar rhythm: signature styles reintroduced with subtle shifts, and new models that blend sculpture and function. While formally rooted in womenswear, many pieces in the Edit carry a quiet unisex energy — oversized tailoring, structured knits, and utility details that transcend traditional categories.
